Gene Recker, MBA
[Senior Simplex Consultant]
Gene Recker is a Senior Simplex Consultant with Basadur Applied Creativity. Gene has over 15 years experience working with innovation as a manager and a consultant. His current focus is integrating creativity and innovation into organizational entrepreneurship, strategic planning, leadership development and improvement programs. His consultancy centers on helping organizations achieve positive change utilizing the innovative, consensus-based approach of the Simplex System. He also works with organizations to develop these thinking skills internally via training of individual contributors, facilitators, managers and executives.
As a former general manager with Kimball International, he championed the successful introduction and use of Simplex Creative Problem Solving within his business units. As a result, teams worked together more effectively to implement new solutions and improvements. Kimball subsequently adopted the Simplex System as a fundamental component of their Leadership Development Program.
Gene has an M.B.A. from the University of Southern Indiana, is a Guest Lecturer at the University of Evansville and has published research related to strategy and behaviors of organizations facing great change. |
