Grand Opening of the New Basadur Applied Creativity Center

The new Basadur Applied Creativity Center opened its doors in mid-July and its first event was a smash hit! Nestled on four secluded wooded acres just west of downtown Toronto, this new state-of-the-art facility now enables us to deliver our services in a way never before possible.

For the past 25 years, Basadur Applied Creativity (BAC) has worked with leaders in organizations who understand that better developing innovative thinking skills of people at all levels is the crucial strategic thrust to achieve and maintain competitive advantage. Over the years we have continually researched and improved our Simplex® Applied Creativity system and expanded our global associate network to meet growing demand for our services.

Quite simply, the Simplex® system works – proven through our published research, results achieved by our clients and a dedicated network of certified consultants around the globe who are expert at delivering it. What we have not had is a specifically designed space that allows us to control the environment in which we work with our clients - until now!

The brand new Basadur Applied Creativity Center has been designed and built to provide the ideal environment and atmosphere for applying creativity and getting results. Whether you require an exploratory problem finding application session, skill-building workshop, or an ideal environment to better focus on solving some complex challenges facing your organization, the BAC Center delivers.

The new Center enables us to deliver our methodology in a manner that is entirely under our control to maximize the experience of participants and the results taken away at the end of our sessions.

• Developing the ultimate creative off-site location that encourages thinking that breaks out from the conventional thinking that occurs all too often in onsite meetings or in meetings held in conference rooms.
• Opportunities to work in small, select groups with our founder, Dr. Min Basadur, as well as with our master and senior consultants in any of our three services.
• Using on-hand creativity stimulating tools and functionality unavailable at other locations. The Simplex® sessions are interactive; we've designed an environment to stimulate creative thinking - giving you and your team the best experience possible.
• State-of-the-art multi-media capabilities encourage participant interaction, allow immediate access to the web and e-learning tools (bring your laptop!) as well as the ability to influence the ‘mood' of your session.
• Ability to project representation of possible solutions, as well as document and publish concretized results immediately. Our clients have always left with solutions and action plans. For example, now clients leave sessions with detailed documentation, working concepts of prototypes and strategic plans - should they wish.

Location, Location, Location

The new BAC Center is situated on a secluded four-acre property conveniently located outside downtown Toronto and Hamilton as well as near international airports in Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo, and near popular tourist locations like Niagara Falls.
