Conducting Problem Solving
In a conversation with Deborah, a seasoned P&G executive, she said that we have lots of new ideas, but most of them don’t get done. “We hire top-notch students based on the success they’ve achieved in school to solve problems as individuals, which is good, however we find that they struggle to lead teams to solve the day-to-day problems our organization faces. What we’re looking for is real skill to be able to assemble groups of people and bring them together in an integrated, well-ordered way to achieve innovative results.”
